Floating crane (also known as crane ship and floating crane) is a kind of engineering ship specialized in lifting operations on water. The floating crane is generally composed of two parts: the lower floating ship and the superstructure installed on the deck of the floating ship. The floating ship is used to support the dead weight and lifting weight of the crane, and then transfer them to the water surface through its hull, so that the floating crane can work independently on the water surface. In addition, the floating boat can also enable the crane to navigate from one working place to another along the waterway, or move horizontally in the same working place to meet the requirements for the crane to align with the loading and unloading point or complete the horizontal movement of goods. The superstructure is the lifting device part of the floating crane, which is used for loading and unloading or hoisting goods.
